How did you all write this?!?! Was it all a conversation? Sentence for sentence? The voices are super distinct but how did they come together? Help plz

Thanks for asking! Daniela and I co-wrote each poem; usually we each wrote half, then emailed it to the other person to finish. But our voices are so different that in some poems we rearranged the lines to absorb the impact of veering from voice to voice. I hope this helps! It was great fun to write. We challenged each other -- the best kind of collaboration. (and sorry I didn't see this comment earlier; I don't get notification of comments for some reason)
