Lab Animals Talk Back

What would happen if lab animals talked back? If they sat down to dinner with the family? Here's a new short story co-written with Kelly Magee in which we imagine just that. "With Me" is part of our forthcoming collection With Animal (Black Lawrence Press, 2015). It's featured in Communion literary journal, issue 1.
Kelly and I were also interviewed by the creative folks at Ashland Creek Press about our contribution to their anthology Among Animals

The Reckless Remainder

I'm thrilled to announce that Noctuary Press plans to publish my collaborative prose poetry collection The Reckless Remainder. Kelly Magee and I co-wrote this series of poems; our words follow lovers down a river, through a forest, and into a house surrounded by imaginary animals. Our book will be published in 2016. In the meantime, check out The House in the Woods, a photo series by Finnish photographer Kai Fagerstrom. This is what I wanted our book to feel like -- haunted, alive.
