Thursday reading cancelled

So sorry, folks -- my 9/22 reading with Ann Tweedy and Risa Denenberg at King's Books in Tacoma, WA has been cancelled due to a death in Ann's family. My heart goes out to Ann and her husband Manny. Please send them good thoughts, and I'll check back in with you all soon. New books coming around the corner, including poetry collaborations with Kelly Magee and Daniela Olszewska!

New Website at carolguessbooks.com

Hello friends. I've created a website for my books, and hope to link this blog to my website very soon. Each one of my books will have its own page, complete with photos and special features like videos, sample material, interviews, and reviews. Forgive my mistakes as I learn new skills! Keep in touch; I'd like to hear from you. And visit me here: carolguessbooks.com

YOUR SICK

It's here! The latest map of my imagination, printed in prose. Your Sick is a collaborative short story collection, co-written with Elizabeth J. Colen and Kelly Magee. The three of us were thrilled to be published by Jellyfish Highway Press, and to feature cover art by Holly Andres. You can order Your Sick right here. If you're interested in writing a review, or adapting the book for your classroom, we're happy to do interviews, create writing prompts, Skype or email with students, etc.

Would You Rather?

Would you rather celebrate the publication of Your Sick or eat cake? How about both? I would rather do a lot of things, often simultaneously. Here's proof over at The Next Best Book Blog, where I answer strange questions to the best of my ability. And if you click the magic link, you can pre-order Your Sick (co-authored with Elizabeth J. Colen and Kelly Magee, published by Jellyfish Highway Press).
